Banter and Bullying #neverOK

Several students took part in a Banter and Bullying event at Bath University on Thursday 2nd May. It was a great day with lots of activities and workshops which included responding to online bullying and harassment, micro-aggressions and their macro impact, information on the local support services, and creating a campaign. The day finished with a Q&A session with author, editor and journalist Nikesh Shukla where students gained an insight into his career and experience of social campaigning.

This was an inaugural event led by SARI (Stand Against Racism and Inequality), The University of Bath, The Black Families Support Group and  BANES Council. Both staff and students were truly inspired and we look forward to launching our student-led #neverOK campaign next year!
