Inspiring stories from around the world

Two years ago students traveled to Bath to attend a TEDX Talk that inspired a new annual tradition for students at Writhlington and Mendip Sixth Form.

Special guests from across the country are invited to Writhlington’s Dragonfly Theatre to share their inspiring stories with our Sixth Form students.

Head of Sixth Form, Mark Bridges commented:

This is always an amazing opportunity to introduce the students to powerful and inspirational individuals who have had diverse and interesting career paths and experiences. From parents of students, charity aid workers to a 92 Year old actress, students were really touched by kind words and inspiring stories.

With all the excitement of Inspire Day, students have now elected to take part in the TEDed service, a programme working alongside TEDX to create student led talks, helping them harness their own stories and inspire others.
