This weekend students took part in the Bath International Schools Model United Nations Conference at Kingswood School. Representing Palestine and Indonesia, students from Years 10 to 13 sought to tackle a host of international issues, sitting in committees on human rights, global economic challenges, political affairs, disarmament, Middle Eastern issues, the UN Security Council and the environmental. All our students demonstrated outstanding knowledge, diplomacy, problem solving and debate and were a credit to themselves and their school. Whilst all students were fantastic, particularly recognition goes to Ethan, Kasper and Ed who were all recognised as ‘Commended Delegates’ for impressive contributions to their committees.
