Year 11 and Year 13 Students Celebrate Excellent Exam Results

Our Year 11 students have been celebrating excellent results in their GCSEs this week. In Year 11,  47% of students achieved strong passes (9-5) in English and Maths and over 60% achieved standard passes (9-4). Across all students, added value is superb with the attainment in excess of 50 average points per student.

At Post 16 results were excellent across all of our specialist areas of Engineering,  Forensics,  Applied Human Biology and Childcare. We are delighted that every student applying through UCAS has been accepted by their first choice University.

As a staff we are deeply proud of all our students. This inspiring group of young people have bravely tackled the challenges of the pandemic, lockdowns and the pressures of their exams, and delivered the most impressive array of outcomes in our School’s history so far.

We wish all of our students the best for their futures; both our Year 11 students going on to pursue ambitious Post 16 routes – many returning for our industry standard qualifications in Engineering, Healthcare, Forensics, Early Years Education whilst others pursue their dreams in arts, media, humanities, and others still have secured apprenticeships and employment; and our Year 13 students embarking on University courses, apprenticeships and employment.
